“What I most enjoy about Broadus is the opportunity to partner with really special people in sustainable ventures of missional community. What I mean by that is that I love the courageous and impactful ways that many Broadus people undertake together to be the presence of Christ in very different contexts: Kingdom Kids, the Women’s Prison, small groups of mutual accountability, and on and on. I love being a part of these communities. They are more than projects and even more than ministries. They are life-transforming communal expressions of the Kingdom of God. And I get to be a part of making it happen and watch lives literally change in the process.”
About Eric
Since 2002, Eric has been the pastor of Broadus Memorial. Eric has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and an Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and previously served with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship as a missionary with Open House Ministries in Homestead, FL. He and his wife, Jenny have 2 children.
