What We Believe
What does Broadus believe?
Broadus believes that the faith community is built around Worship, Bible Study, Ministry, Mission, and Fellowship for the purpose of the transformation of our lives to be like Christ. We believe every Christian has a unique relationship with God and a role to play serving the church community and the world and that God uses men and women in all roles of ministry. We believe that we are to love God with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength . . .and that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. We believe that you, no matter what has happened in your life, what you have done, or who you are, are loved by God and that Jesus has opened the door for you to come to grace, forgiveness and new life. Want that kind of life or want to learn more? Come.
You belong here.
We actively contribute to and work with our partners. They say you can know more about a person by their friends. The same is true of churches. So, here are our ‘friends’, the organizations that we most closely partner with.
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia
Baptist General Association of Virginia
Central Virginia Baptist Association
We also support the UVA Baptist Student Ministry, World Hunger Relief, Habitat for Humanity, the John Leland Center, The Baptist House at Duke Divinity School, Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Global Women, the Good News Prison Ministry, and several other organizations doing ministry and mission around Charlottesville and beyond.
