Ministries

Broadus people are very active in our community and around the world. There are numerous opportunties for you to get involved and serve other people.

Ministry Teams

Seven ministry teams currently serve the Broadus community. After a training session, you are welcome to join any of these teams to which you feel called.”  Over 2/3 of Broadus’ active attendees are involved on one of these teams:

  • Homebound Ministry Team
  • Hospital Visitation Team
  • Casserole Team
  • First Impressions to First Steps Team
  • Prayer Team
  • Bereavement Team
  • Small Jobs Team

Small Group Ministry

Most of the small groups and Sunday School classes have adopted ministry foci for their groups. And new emphases are being started all the time from Christmas and Thanksgiving projects to PACEM–a local homeless ministry, and on and on. The Small Groups decide together what they are led to do.

Missions

Broadus is on a three-year mission experience rotation. One year we take an international mission trip. One year is a regional mission trip. One year is a local mission emphasis.
