Worship

Find Your Moment.

When we worship God we are brought into God’s presence. Encountering the Divine is to be transformed and to experience awe. People have worshipped God in many ways and forms over the centuries. Even today, there are a wide variety of ways churches worship. You might be drawn to one ’style’ over another. That’s ok.

What we try to do at Broadus when we worship is to find moments of transformation–where we are changed/ challenged/ convicted/ converted–and moments of awe–where we praise/ find ourselves speechless/ grow in our love of God/ adore God.

Not everyone has a moment like this every week. That’s ok, too. But that’s our idea of what worship means. It means giving glory to God by being transformed into the person He wants you to be.

We use different ’styles’ when we worship. Not every Sunday is the same. Not every series of Sundays is the same. Sometimes we want to lead you into God’s presence and sometimes we just try to get out of the way and let you encounter God in the place where you need Him the most. There is tradition in what we do together, but it’s a fresh tradition that we think will speak to you, and make way for you to speak to God.

Come and find your moment.
